It couldn’t be easier to visit The Bear Hotel and we’re accessible by road, rail and air.

Travelling by Road

We’re located just 2 minutes from the A44. Parking is available at the back of the hotel at a rate of £10 per night and is accessible via Park or Rectory Lane as shown on the map below.

Travelling by Train

Oxford provides the principal connections to/from London (Paddington), Bournemouth, Hereford & Worcester, Birmingham, Manchester & further north operated by various rail companies. From Oxford, it’s a twenty minute car journey to the hotel. Taxis are available at the railway station in Oxford, but there is also a frequent and convenient bus service from the station forecourt directly to Woodstock. If you require a car service, contact our hotel team to discuss the options available to you. 

Travelling by Air

Oxford International Airport is only an 8 minute drive from the hotel. Heathrow Airport is just 50 miles away so if you’re travelling by car, you’ll reach us in under an hour.
