Discover Legoland

A day trip to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort couldn’t be easier – it’s less than 15 minutes’ drive from the hotel. Your challenge will be what to see and how to fit it all in once you’re there!

The park is designed for children between three and thirteen – but that hasn’t stopped hordes of LEGO-obsessed adults paying homage whilst chaperoning their kids. Attractions include Lego-themed rides – including The Dragon, a huge LEGO dragon that swoops through the treetops - plus models, building workshops and shows.

Themed Worlds

There are 12 themed ‘lands` to explore with activities grouped, according to age, for Tiny Feet, Little Builders, Big Builders, Family Fun and LEGO fans. There are height restrictions on some rides and others where smaller children need to be accompanied.

For some essential pre-planning, visit the LEGOLAND website at the link below. It gives a full overview of each of the 12 lands and information about what you’ll find there, including an explanation of the all-important age categories and ride information.

You can pre-book your entry passes and parking (with a discount for advance booking) and there’s a Reserve & Ride option which allows you to join a virtual queue to save valuable time once you’re there.

Making the Most of Your Trip

There’s also a LEGOLAND app, which will help you navigate your way through the day, with ride availability and show times at your fingertips.

Check the website for opening and closing times, which vary throughout the year. And don’t forget, when you’ve exhausted every ride and seen enough LEGO bricks to send you dizzy, there’s no better place for an evening of calm than at Macdonald Windsor Hotel!
