Highland Folk Museum

Visit the Highland Folk Museum, where you can step back in time and experience life in the Highlands from the 1700s right through to the 1950s.

There's over 35 historical buildings onsite to explore and discover how people in the Highlands lived, worked, went to school and enjoyed their leisure time.

It's Britain's first open air museum which is free to visit with donations welcome. The museum is seasonal and is located near Newtonmore around a 20 minute drive from the resort.
